Operating Instructions

On/Off & Mode Switching: the Spotlight and Floodlight sources are controlled independently by their own top switch. Press and hold either switch to turn that light source on or off. With the headlamp switched off, double click either switch to enter the Red light mode.

  • Spotlight mode: single click the Spotlight switch to cycle through Low, Med, High, and Turbo
  • Floodlight mode: single click the Floodlight switch to cycle through Low, Med, and High
  • Both sources: can be run simultaneously; running both at Turbo together reaches the combined 2200-lumen maximum output
  • Red light mode: single click either switch to cycle through Low, Med, and High

Lock/Unlock Function: with the headlamp on or off, press and hold both switches simultaneously for 3 seconds to lock the headlamp and prevent accidental activation. Press and hold both switches simultaneously for 3 seconds again to unlock.

Do not mix batteries of different brands, sizes, capacities or types — doing so may cause damage to the headlamp or to the batteries being used. Only use the recommended or usable batteries mentioned in this user manual. Using low-quality batteries or mishandling batteries (such as short-circuiting or overheating) could lead to combustion and jeopardize the safety of users and property. It is recommended to use a Fenix ARB-L18-3400 battery.

Charging

  • Plug the USB Type-C charging cable into the charging port on the headlamp.
  • With the headlamp switched off, the normal charging time using the included Fenix ARB-L18-3400 battery is about 2.5 hours from depleted to fully charged.
