Press and hold the power button for 0.5 seconds. Simply pressing the button will not turn on the light. The button must be held until the light activates.

If the light flashes several times and then turns off, it may be in lockout mode. To deactivate lockout mode, press and hold both switches simultaneously for three seconds.

If the light turns off after a short period, you may be activating burst mode instead of the standard mode. Burst mode is activated by pressing and holding the General switch for 1.2 seconds.

After a set amount of time, the light will return to its previous setting. If the light was previously off, it will turn off when burst mode ends.
