What batteries should I use in my Fenix light?Updated 4 hours ago
Fenix flashlights are compatible with many different brands of batteries, but not all battery manufacturers make all battery types, and quality/safety varies by brand.
Energizer: any Energizer AA or AAA battery works in a flashlight that takes AA/AAA (note: not all flashlights can use rechargeable batteries).
Tenergy: Fenix lights support Tenergy 18650 and CR123A batteries, note that CR123A batteries are not rechargeable, and flashlights designed for CR123A cannot use rechargeable RCR123As.
Fenix: Fenix produces its own full line of battery types across 18650, 14500, and 16340 sizes - check each product's specifications to find the compatible type for your light. For best safety and performance, we recommend using Fenix batteries or other reputable, well-known brands, and avoiding off-brand or unverified batteries, which can pose safety risks (leaking, inconsistent performance, or damage to your light) regardless of brand name.
