The HP30R V2 uses two 21700 batteries. They can be recharged inside the battery pack or can be charged in the following battery chargers:

• ARE-A2
• ARE-A4
• ARE-D1
• ARE-D2

The HP30R V1 uses two 18650 batteries. They can be recharged inside the battery pack or can be charged in the following battery chargers:

• ARE-A2
• ARE-A4
• ARE-D1
• ARE-D2
• ARE-X1
• ARE-X2
• ARE-X11

The HP30R V1 can also use four non-rechargeable CR123A batteries. These batteries cannot be recharged from any source.
