Operating Instructions

On/Off: press and hold the side switch for 0.5 seconds to turn the flashlight on/off.

Mode Switching: press and hold the side switch for 1.2 seconds to switch to Flash mode. Single-click the side switch to select between Strobe and SOS.

Output Selection: in General mode, single-click the side switch to cycle Eco → Low → Med → High → Turbo.

Lock/Unlock: with the light off, double-click the side switch within 0.5 seconds to lock (blinks twice in Low output to confirm). Double-click again within 0.5 seconds to unlock (activates in Low output).

Intelligent Memory Circuit: the light remembers the last-used output level, but only for outputs of 1000 lumens or below (excluding Strobe and SOS). If turned off above 1000 lumens, it restarts at the last remembered level under that threshold.

Battery & Charging

Uses a Fenix ARB-L21 series 21700 battery (3.6V, included). To replace: unscrew the light tail, insert the battery anode side (+) toward the light head, and screw the tail back on. Do not use 16340 batteries or LiFePO4 (18650, 3.2V) batteries — both are banned for this light; other 21700 Li-ion batteries should be used with caution.

To charge: open the anti-dust plug on the tail to reveal the USB Type-C port and connect the charging cable. The indicator glows red while charging and turns green when full — be sure to unplug and close the anti-dust plug once done. Charging from empty takes about 1.5 hours with a 9V/3A adapter (20W fast charging supported; only use a certified adapter). The light can be used while charging.

Battery Level Indication

With the light off, single-click the side switch to check battery status (indicator lasts 3 seconds); it also shows briefly on every power-on.

  • Green, on: saturated, 100–85%
  • Green, flashing: sufficient, 85–50%
  • Red, on: poor, 50–25%
  • Red, flashing: critical, 25–1%

Protection Features

Intelligent Overheat Protection: at 60°C/140°F or above, the light automatically steps down output to cool down, and gradually restores the preset level once temperature drops.

Low-Voltage Warning: below 3.0V, the light downshifts to Eco. At Eco, the indicator blinks red rapidly and the light itself blinks for 20 seconds as a reminder; single-click the switch to stop the blinking and stay in Eco (usable for 30+ more minutes) until the battery needs recharging.

Care & Maintenance

  • Do not disassemble the sealed head — this voids the warranty.
  • Use only a high-quality battery.
  • Remove the battery for storage if the light won't be used for an extended period.
  • Unscrew the light tail or remove the battery during storage/transport to prevent accidental activation.
  • Replace the O-ring with an approved spare if it shows wear, to maintain the waterproof seal.
  • Clean battery contacts periodically with a rubbing-alcohol-soaked cotton swab if the light flickers or won't turn on.
