Battery

Uses one AAA battery. Recommended: Ni-MH (rechargeable). Usable: Alkaline or non-rechargeable Lithium AAA. Do NOT use rechargeable Li-ion 10440/10450 batteries — banned for this light.

Operating Instructions

On/Off: Tighten the light head to turn on the light; unscrew the light head to turn off.

Output Selection: Unscrew the light head and re-tighten it within one second to cycle through Low → Med → High.

Intelligent Overheat Protection

The light accumulates heat on High output over extended periods. To reduce temperature, it will automatically step down a few lumens; High can be reselected once cooled.

Usage and Maintenance

• Disassembling the sealed head can damage the light and voids the warranty.
• Use a high-quality battery.
• Remove the battery if the light will not be used for an extended period, to avoid damage from electrolyte leakage or battery explosion.
• Long-term use can wear the O-ring; replace with an approved spare to maintain a proper water seal.
• Periodically clean the battery contacts — dirty contacts can cause flickering, intermittent operation, or failure to illuminate.
