Warning

Do not shine this flashlight directly into anyone's eyes.
Do not place this flashlight in the reach of children.
Do not place the flashlight head near flammable objects — high temperatures can cause objects to overheat and become flammable/ignite.
Do not use the flashlight in inappropriate ways such as holding the unit in your mouth; doing so could cause serious personal injury or death if the light or internal battery fails.
This flashlight will accumulate a significant amount of heat while operating, resulting in a high temperature of the light shell. Pay close attention to avoid burns.
Turn off the flashlight or remove the battery to prevent accidental activation when placed in a closed and flammable environment such as pockets and backpacks.
The LEDs of this flashlight are not replaceable; the whole flashlight will need to be replaced when any one of the LEDs reaches the end of its lifespan.
This flashlight is for professional use only — not for use by untrained individuals or children. It complies with EU photobiological safety standard EN 62471; use it according to the specified safety classification.

UV Radiation Warning

This flashlight emits ultraviolet (UV) radiation, which may cause damage to eyes and skin. UV light is generally invisible to the human eye and improper use may result in unintended exposure.
Do not look directly at the UV-LED or its beam during operation. Avoid shining the flashlight directly at people, animals, or exposed skin.
UV radiation reflects off surfaces (mirrors, metal), increasing the risk of accidental exposure, and is stronger and more intense at close range than at a distance of several meters.
Do not use optical lenses to focus the light beam within its emission cone.
Always wear certified UV-protective goggles and skin protection during use to avoid eye and skin damage, and avoid prolonged exposure of skin or other living tissue.
Restrict usage of the UV light to professional applications only. Always turn off the flashlight and store it securely after use.

Operating Instructions

On/Off: With the light locked, rotate the toggle switch clockwise to turn it on; with the light off and unlocked, press and hold the electronic switch for 0.5 seconds to turn it on. Rotate the toggle switch counterclockwise to the stop position, or press and hold the electronic switch for 0.5 seconds, to turn it off.

Mode Switching: With the light on, single click the electronic switch to cycle Spotlight→Floodlight→Spot-and floodlight mode. With the light off/locked, double click the electronic switch to enter Red light/Red flash/UV light mode (the last selected before turning off); single click to cycle Red light→Red flash→UV light mode, and press and hold for 0.5 seconds to exit and turn off.

Strobe/SOS Mode: With the light unlocked, press and hold the electronic switch for 1.2 seconds to enter Strobe mode; single click to cycle Strobe→SOS; press and hold again for 1.2 seconds to exit.

Output Selection: Rotate the toggle switch for stepless brightness regulation in Spotlight/Floodlight/Spot-and floodlight/Red light/Red flash/UV light modes.

Lock/Unlock: With the light unlocked, rotate the toggle switch counterclockwise to the stop position to lock and turn it off. In locked status, rotate the toggle switch clockwise to unlock and turn it on for normal use.

Intelligent Memory Circuit: The flashlight automatically memorizes the last selected mode excluding Strobe and SOS. Turning it back on recalls the last Spotlight/Floodlight/Spot-and floodlight mode; double-clicking the electronic switch recalls the last Red light/Red flash/UV light mode. Note: the flashlight does not memorize output level.

Battery Specifications

Rechargeable Battery Stick (Li-ion), cell type 46950, nominal voltage 3.6V, nominal power 115.2W. The battery cell and the flashlight body are integrated and cannot be disassembled. The Fenix LR50R V2.0 is only compatible with the 46950 battery stick — do not use other types of batteries or battery sticks.

Battery Stick Replacement

Unscrew the light head and battery stick; the battery stick can be replaced with the same model.

Charging

Turn off the flashlight, unscrew the hidden charging port at the tail, insert the charging cable's Type-C connector into the flashlight's charging port, and insert the other end into a powered adapter. Once the flashlight receives a charging signal, the OLED screen automatically lights up to display the battery percentage and charging status; ten green lights light up incrementally to indicate charging. When both Type-C ports are charging at full power, the time from nearly depleted to fully charged is approximately 3 hours. The Type-C port supports PD3.0, PD2.0, and other mainstream fast-charging protocols. Make sure a battery is installed before connecting the charging cable — do not connect the cable when the flashlight is empty.

Power specifications: orange Type-C port supports fast charging at 15V/45W; black Type-C port supports fast charging at 12V/18W. Only use a certified USB charging adapter that complies with the government safety standards of the country or region where this product is sold.

Power Bank Function

Turn off the flashlight, unscrew the tail to open the hidden charging port, insert the charging cable's Type-C plug into the flashlight's discharge port, and insert the other end into the device to be charged. The OLED screen shows the battery percentage and discharge status; 10 green lights light up in a decreasing sequence. After discharging, unplug the cable and tighten the tail to hide the port. Compatible fast-discharge protocols include PD and QC.

Battery Level Indication

OLED smart display: when the flashlight is on, the OLED automatically shows the remaining battery percentage, current lumen value, and runtime for the current mode, remaining continuously lit. If battery level falls below 5%, the low-battery icon flashes and (except UV light) all modes are limited to 50 lumens.

Tail battery level indicator: single click the tail electronic switch; the 10 green indicators show the remaining battery level for 3 seconds (single click again within 3 seconds to turn off). 10 lights: 100%-90%; 9 lights: 90%-80%; 8 lights: 80%-70%; 7 lights: 70%-60%; 6 lights: 60%-50%; 5 lights: 50%-40%; 4 lights: 40%-30%; 3 lights: 30%-20%; 2 lights: 20%-10%; 1 light: below 10%.

Low-Voltage Warning

When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the flashlight downshifts to a lower brightness level until the lowest output is reached. At that point, the OLED battery icon keeps flashing, and one tail battery level indicator lights up and blinks, until the battery runs out, to remind users to recharge in a timely manner.

Intelligent Brightness Downshift Function

With the light locked, press and hold the electronic switch for 6 seconds — two blinks in Floodlight Low (50 lumens) means enabled, eight blinks means disabled. When the light head is close to an illuminated object (about 60 mm) for more than 1.5 seconds, the flashlight automatically downshifts to 50 lumens to avoid danger from high temperatures; it gradually recalls the previously used brightness level once away from the object for more than 0.8 seconds.

Intelligent Overheat Protection

The flashlight will accumulate a lot of heat when used at high output levels for extended periods. When it reaches 65°C/149°F or above, it automatically steps down a few lumens to reduce the temperature, and gradually recalls the preset output level once the temperature drops below 65°C/149°F.

Note: According to the ANSI/PLATO FL1 standard, the above specifications are from Fenix laboratory testing using one 3.6V/32000mAh battery stick under a temperature of 21±3°C and humidity of 50% - 80%. Except for Strobe and SOS, all light modes support stepless brightness regulation. *The High output is measured in total of runtime including output at reduced levels due to temperature or protection mechanism in the design. The above UV light power refers to the UV light's full-band optical power.

Usage and Maintenance

Disassembling the sealed components of the flashlight can cause damage to the flashlight and will void the warranty.
Fenix recommends using an excellent quality battery.
If the flashlight will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery, or the flashlight could be damaged by electrolyte leakage.
Rotate the toggle switch to the stop position, unscrew the light tail half a turn, or take out the battery to prevent accidental activation during storage or transportation.
Long-term use can result in O-ring wear. To maintain a proper water seal, replace the O-ring with an approved spare.
Periodic cleaning of the flashlight and battery contacts improves performance as dirty contacts may cause flickering or failure to illuminate: the flashlight may be locked (unlock by rotating the toggle switch clockwise); the battery level may be poor (recharge or replace the battery stick); or the contacts may be dirty (clean with a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol).
