Yes, you can use lithium non-rechargeable AA batteries in the Fenix LD22 LED flashlight. You can also use alkaline AA batteries and Ni-MH rechargeable AA batteries. Learn more about the difference between flashlight batteries. 

The Fenix LD22 V2 can also use AA batteries but its brightness levels and runtimes will be reduced.
