Yes, the GL22 can be locked out by holding down both switches for 5 seconds while the light is turned off. Once the lock has been activated the white light will blink twice to indicate that it is now locked. To unlock the light again, hold both switches for 1 second. 

If you attempt to activate the light while the lockout is active it will notify you by blinking twice.
