Confirm that the battery is working properly by testing it in another compatible device.

Make sure the battery is inserted into the flashlight in the correct direction. The positive (+) end should face the head, or LED end, of the flashlight.

Confirm that there is only one O-ring on the light. The flashlight already has an O-ring installed when it is removed from the box. The additional O-ring included in the box is a spare.

Lubricate the O-ring by applying a small amount of petroleum jelly with the end of a cotton swab.

The E01 uses twist-head activation. Tighten the head completely onto the body of the flashlight to turn on the light.
