Fenix HP30R V2 Troubleshooting StepsUpdated 2 years ago

  • Please confirm that the battery cap is screwed down all the way.
  • Confirm that the batteries you are using are good. Try them in another device that you have that uses 21700s. If you don't have one you can ask coworkers or friends if they do.
  • Try using different 21700 batteries that you know are good in the headlamp.
  • Confirm that there is only one o-ring on the light. The o-ring that comes in the box is a spare. The light already has an o-ring on it when you first remove it from the box. If you put on the spare o-ring, please remove it as this will prevent the light from making a full connection with the batteries.
  • Lubricate the o-ring using a small amount of petroleum jelly on the end of a cotton swab.
  • If you are having issues with charging the batteries in the unit, please try using the AC adapter and USB cord with a different device. Alternatively, try using a different USB cord or AC adapter with your headlamp.
