Fenix TK16 V2 Troubleshooting StepsUpdated a day ago
If your light will not turn on, remove the plastic insulation disc from inside the flashlight body before using it. Please watch the video for instructions.
Confirm that the battery or batteries are working properly by testing them in another compatible device.
Make sure the battery or batteries are inserted into the flashlight in the correct direction. The positive (+) end should face the head, or LED end, of the flashlight.
Confirm that there is only one O-ring on the light. The flashlight already has an O-ring installed when it is removed from the box. The additional O-ring included in the box is a spare. If you installed the spare O-ring, please remove it, as having two O-rings will prevent the flashlight from making a full connection with the batteries.
Lubricate the O-ring by applying a small amount of petroleum jelly with the end of a cotton swab.
Confirm that the tail cap and head are tightened completely onto the body of the flashlight.
For the older TK16 V1: If the flashlight is still not working after you tighten the tactical ring and tail cap, remove the tactical ring, turn it around and reinstall it.
