Fenix TK65R Troubleshooting StepsUpdated 2 hours ago
If your light will not turn on or charge, remove the plastic insulation disc from inside the flashlight body before using it. Please watch the video for instructions.
Confirm that the battery is working properly by testing it in another compatible device.
Confirm that there is only one O-ring on the light. The light already has an O-ring installed when it is removed from the box. The additional O-ring included in the box is a spare. If you installed the spare O-ring, please remove it, as having two O-rings will prevent the light from making a full connection with the battery.
Lubricate the O-ring by applying a small amount of petroleum jelly with the end of a cotton swab.
Confirm that the head and tail cap are tightened completely onto the body of the flashlight.
Press and hold the power switch for 0.5 seconds. A single press will not turn on the light. You must hold the button until the light activates.
If the light only works while plugged in, or if the charging indicator continues cycling but the light does not work when unplugged, the battery may need to be replaced.
If the light flashes twice when you press the button, it is in lockout mode. To lock or unlock the flashlight, double-press the third switch, which is marked with an “F.”
If the battery percentage displayed on the LCD screen does not change while the flashlight is charging, please use the contact form to reach the Warranty Department.
Please note that the light’s USB discharge function may not be compatible with all devices.
If the light is still not working after you have completed these troubleshooting steps, please visit our Warranty and Repair page to review the policy and submit a claim.
