Fenix TK72R Troubleshooting StepsUpdated 2 years ago
- If your light won't turn on or won't charge, be sure to remove the plastic insulation disc (please watch video) inside the flashlight body as soon as you get the light.
- Confirm that your batteries are good. Try using the battery in another device.
- Confirm that there is only one o-ring on the light. The o-ring that comes in the box is a spare. The light already has an o-ring on it when you first remove it from the box. If you put on the spare o-ring, please remove it as this will prevent the light from making a full connection with the batteries.
- Lubricate the o-ring using a small amount of petroleum jelly on the end of a cotton swab.
- Confirm that the head and tail cap pieces are completely tight on the body of the flashlight.
- Click and hold the power switch for .5 seconds. A single click will not turn the light on, you must hold the button down.
- If the light only works while plugged in and/or if the charging indicator never stops cycling but it is not working when unplugged, the battery may be bad.
- If the light flashes twice when you click the button the light is in "Lockout" mode. Double-click the 3rd switch (the one with the "F") to lock or unlock the flashlight.
- If the battery percentage on the LCD screen does not change while charging, please use the contact form to reach out to the warranty department.
- Please note that USB discharge from the light to other devices may not work with all devices.
