These troubleshooting tips apply to the current TK75 2018 Edition, as well as older discontinued versions.

Confirm that the batteries are working properly by testing them in another compatible device.

Make sure the batteries are inserted into the light in the correct direction, as indicated on the battery carrier. Two batteries should be inserted with the positive (+) ends facing up, and the other two should be inserted with the negative (−) ends facing down. All negative ends should touch the springs on the battery carrier.

Confirm that there is only one O-ring on the light. The light already has an O-ring installed when it is removed from the box. The additional O-ring included in the box is a spare. If you installed the spare O-ring, please remove it, as having two O-rings will prevent the light from making a full connection with the batteries.

Lubricate the O-ring by applying a small amount of petroleum jelly with the end of a cotton swab.

Confirm that the tail cap is tightened completely onto the body of the flashlight.
