Confirm that the battery or batteries are working properly by testing them in another compatible device.

Make sure the battery or batteries are inserted into the light in the correct direction. The positive (+) end should face the head, or LED end, of the flashlight.

Confirm that there is only one O-ring on the light. The light already has an O-ring installed when it is removed from the box. The additional O-ring included in the box is a spare.

Lubricate the O-ring by applying a small amount of petroleum jelly with the end of a cotton swab.
