The PD45R ACE features the Lock mode for locking and unlocking the flashlight.

Lock:

With the light switched on, rotate the mode selector ring to “” to lock the currently selected output. Pressing or tapping the tactical tail switch cannot change the output or turn off the light.

With the light switched off, rotate the mode selector ring to “” to lock the tactical tail switch. Pressing or tapping the tactical tail switch cannot turn on the light.

Unlock:

Rotate the mode selector ring from “” to any designated mode to unlock the flashlight. After unlocking the flashlight, the tactical tail switch functions properly.
