What are the basic tasks I can perform to keep my light operating?Updated 13 days ago
Here are a few basic tasks that help keep your light operating: 1. Use fresh or fully charged batteries and make sure they are installed correctly. 2. Keep the battery contacts and threads clean; wipe away dirt or debris with a clean, dry cloth. 3. Inspect the o-rings for damage and keep them and the threads lightly lubricated with silicone grease. Apply a very light amount so it does not interfere with the battery connection. 4. Make sure the tailcap and head are screwed on fully. Diagnose Your Switch: if your light is clean and has fresh batteries, but still does not work, remove the tail cap (if the light uses a tail switch) and ensure the batteries are installed correctly. Next, place a metallic object like some tweezers or a screwdriver across the tail section so that it makes contact with both the flashlight and the battery. If the light turns on, you know the issue is with the switch. If it does not turn on, the issue is with the LED or the circuitry surrounding it. Please do not take apart the tail switch assembly, as dismantling the switch can void your warranty. If these steps don't solve the problem, you can resort to your flashlight's warranty or contact our customer support team for help.
