It is recommended to use a Fenix ARB-L21-5000 V2.0 battery. The Fenix ARB-L21-5000 and the Fenix ARB-L21-5000U batteries are not compatible with the LD45R flashlight because their minimum overcurrent protection values are 14 A. The LD45R flashlight has a maximum working current that exceeds 14 A. Therefore, if you use either of these batteries, the flashlight will shut off due to the battery protection mechanism.
