Will button top 18650 batteries work in Fenix lights?Updated 2 years ago

In general, most Fenix flashlights are compatible with a button-top 18650 battery but some older models may require a flat top battery. Just to be safe, assume that any Fenix light that was released after 2017 will require a button top battery and that any lights older than that will need a flat-top. This is definitely not always the case and there are many exceptions but it is good to make this assumption to guarantee that you are getting the correct style of 18650 for your flashlight.
