Yes, while the lamp is switched off you can press and hold either of the two switches for 3 seconds. The lamp will blink twice to indicate that it is now locked. To unlock it, simultaneously press and hold both switches for 3 seconds. The light will then blink 3 times and turn on into the low floodlight mode.

If you attempt to turn the lamp on while it is locked, you will see 3 one-second blinks that indicate that the lamp is locked out.
