How does the lockout function work on the Fenix HL18R-T headlamp?
You can lock out the headlamp by pressing one switch or both switches at the same time for 3 seconds. To unlock it, press both switches at the same time for 3 seconds.

The Fenix HL18R-T headlamp comes with a rechargeable li-polymer battery pack. However, it's also compatible with three AAA batteries.

The HL18R-T includes a rechargeable ARB-LP-1300 battery pack. You also have the option to use 3 AAA batteries as well. AAA batteries cannot be recharged inside the headlamp.

No the HL18R-T does not feature a memory function and will always turn on into the low output setting.
