The Fenix HL60R headlamp is rechargeable, but the HL55 is not. The HL55 does take rechargeable 18650 batteries but they must be removed from the headlamp to charge.

Can I use the ARB-L18-3500U USB rechargeable battery in my Fenix HL60R headlamp?
Yes, the ARB-L18-3500U will work in your headlamp. The built in USB battery is slightly longer due to the button on the top but it should still work just fine. We haven't had any issues reported with those two items.
Can the Fenix 4800 mAh High Quality 26650 battery be used in the New Fenix HL60R headlamp?
No, 26650 batteries are larger than 18650 batteries so Fenix 26650 lithium ion 4800 mAh battery will not fit inside the Fenix HL60R headlamp. Learn more about the difference in flashlight batteries.
Do you have a filter for the Fenix HL60R headlamp?
Fenix doesn't make a filter for the HL60R because the LED is recessed, there is no lip to attach a filter. However, the Fenix HL40R headlamp does fit with the AOF-M filters.
